This past Saturday, Dove treated me and a group of my friends to a spa day at A Moment Away day spa in Southington, Connecticut, where we experienced a new at-home spa treatment Dove calls a PitiCure! A PitiCure is to your armpits what a pedicure is to your feet. (Are you still with me?!)
It's a simple three step process that sounds silly but all jokes aside, it's actually quite refreshing and great for maintaining healthy underarm skin! Let's face it, no one likes bumps, ingrown hairs and irritation, especially during the summer season when we're baring our arms that much more...

In conjunction with National Massage Therapy Awareness Week next week, October 21-27, A Moment Away Massage Therapy and Spa Treatments in Southington is offering several special events.
National Massage Therapy Awareness Week aims to spread the word about massage therapy as a method for stress reduction and pain management.

“Spa Proceeds benefit Relay”

A Moment Away Massage Therapy and Spa Treatments, 196 Queen St. in Southington, is continuing to work to help raise funds for the Southington Relay for Life.
On Friday and Suturday, May 18 and 19, the spa will be donating 50 of their proceeds to Relay for Life. Each person who comes in on those days will receive a flower and thank-you note for their support of the Relay. "We want to push the idea that you can give to yourself while giving to others." Says A Moment Away co-owner Lindsey Sabine.
In addition, the spa will be at the Relay's survivor tent on Friday June 8 giving chair massage and hand massage to cancer survivors who attend the event...
